Dianne is, in alphabetical order, a birder, a mother, a retired educational assistant, a widow, and a writer. She was born and raised in Saskatchewan, albeit in many different communities, and now lives in Martensville, which is a small city just north of Saskatoon.
Dianne has been writing for over 30 years. Her first children's book, The Abaleda Voluntary Firehouse Band , was published in 1990. Her sixth children's book, Grampa, Will You Tell Me a Story? , was published in 2018.
