Author, playwright, and poet Maureen Ulrich lives in Lampman. Besides a YA girls hockey series (Power Plays, Face Off, Breakaway, Shootout) and a YA historical fantasy series (Gabrielle and the Rebels, Gabrielle Rouge, The Outlaw Gabrielle), she has written over fifty plays and a collection of poetry.
